This is just in response to YouTube's age verification policies. I'm trying to work out a way to make my own website. Please be patient with me, I'm still learning how to html. Thank you! :)
What should you expect?
Who really knows what I can do with this site? Anyways, seeya! Bye! Get off your computer! (Maybe)
My apologies for not posting often. I might be leaving YouTube due to the age verification system, and my account possibly being limited or banned. I will be posting on other sites or my own (that link will probably be provided soon in another post).
I'm not exactly sure if this is goodbye, but I hope not. As some of you may know, YouTube is coming out with a new age verification system where, if your account is considered to be for a child based on your activity (like watching games, anime, or other things generally consumed by people under the age of 18), YouTube will lock your account until you give them verifiable information to make sure you're 18 years old. Why is this bad? The internet is about privacy, and giving personal information to a corporation like Google who has been known to be hacked, selling information, or using information for training purposes for their AIs and what not, it's not guaranteed that such vital information would be safe. Stuff like debit/credit cards, pictures of your face, or some kind of government ID. Basically, they want to track people on the internet as much as possible, and they're pushing it on this site. To protect online anonymity and free speech, if my channel is flagged and I'm forced to give verification, I'm simply not giving it. I'm now an adult, but I make LEGO content, which may trigger the age verification...
I will clarify, I SUPPORT ONLINE SAFETY FOR CHILDREN. It would be a great thing if children were more safe online. However, these new laws trying to be pushed in certain countries, along with these new policies with these popular sites, are just using "online safety for children" as a front for trying to control EVERYONE online. They're pushing for gathering personal information from everyone so they can track everyone's activity online. This is horrible because not only does it limit your freedom on the internet (what you're able to see, read, watch, etc in GENERAL), but also it limits your free speech as well, because you're always being tracked. The internet is a safe space for people's free speech because it's mostly anonymous. That's how it should be for the TRUE SAFETY of people. Sharing very personal information like government IDs to random online sites is extremely dangerous. Who knows what they'll be using those things for, or who was able to steal that important information from them. It is not about safety, it's about control, and that is unacceptable. I hope all of this is wrong, but I have no idea, and nobody truly knows what's going to happen.
August 13th, 2025.
Yes. And, if I do end up finishing my own website and posting content there or on other sites, I will continue to do so as well.
I will be posting either on my own website (I just started the process of making it last night, so bear with me), or uploading my videos to YouTube alternatives.
I'm not sure. It really depends, and the site will probably have updates for anyone who wants to read them.
I feel like YouTube has just become me trying to break the algorithm with stupid content to try and make money off of the site. In part, it's a good thing that I was trying to make money off of my work, and I feel like every artist should aspire to do so as well. However, when it becomes one of the primary focuses of the videos, it destroys the passion in the videos. I feel like, for a while, probably ever since my LEGO Batman videos, I've just started to post meaningless shorts or reposting old videos. This will not happen anymore. From now on, I want to be able to post stuff that actually comes from passion. Not only do I enjoy it more, but also I feel like it's more enjoyable to watch when the content is like that. Essentially, expect better quality content in the future.
Possibly brighter! I still want to turn my passion into a career, whether it be writing, content creating, filmmaking, etc. What about the content? Like I said previously, it will be more passion based, so I will be posting more meaningful or interesting content than what I have been posting for a while here.
If you want to continue watching my content, or are interested in other stuff I make, check out my site or the other links I will provide to find my stuff. Again, links will be provided soon in another post probably. If you're unhappy with how YouTube is censoring people like this and trying to get people's information without their consent, find a way to protest against it. I'm not sure how, but if you find a meaningful way, please do so.
Out of all of this, I just want to say, it's been an awesome nearly 8 years of creating content and sharing it with you all. I hope you all enjoyed the content I've produced in the past (despite the strange deletion of my content, which I still regret), and I hope I entertained you all with such strange and wacky videos. Thank you for being around to watch this content as always, it really is you all that make this channel the way it is. You all are the reason the subscriber count is 19.4k instead of 100 or less, and you all are one of the main reasons I post content. These near 8 years have meant a lot to me, and has brought me through a lot of tough times. And I hope, as silly as my videos can be, that these same videos that brought me joy and brought me through dark times, also helped to brighten your days as well. I hope to see you all again soon. Thank you! And as always...
